Spectra S2 Breastpump Vs. Medela Pump In Style Review ~ Bonus Freezer Storage Tip

I'm going to talk about the differences between the spectra pump and the [Medela] pump and in my opinion the spectra pump wins hands downAnd here's why: number one the spectra pump is quieter.

It's almost a whisper quiet compared with the loudMechanics of the [Medela] pump second of all there is much moreControls that you are able to change and you can really changesettings and the speed and the suctionMuch more with the spectra pump than with the [medela] pump okay [the] third thingI like about it better is the compatible parts.

I feel like there's a lot less parts to washIt's just more intuitive the way that the pieces fit together[I] really think the spectra pump is easier to use more user-friendly gets better amount of milk from you andIt's just better for if you're going to be workingSo it's quieter like I am going to be taking it to the office and so I need it to be somethingThat's not super loud that's going to get the job done quickly and so that is why I like the spectra pumpOkay, I will say that I used the [modela] pump for about [the] 14 monthsWith my big girl who's now two and a half and I've just been using the spectra pump for about [a] month since my daughterWas [born] in just one month.

I am already abeliever andThere's just one really funny thing that [I] have to show you that I think isReally sweet okay?I um I have this cup that I like to drink from it's from the dollar tree.

It cost me $1.

It's insulatedOkay, whatever this is not a review about the cupBut I do love the dollar tree and their products guess what I can do inthe spectra pump there is a place a little cup holder andthis fits perfectly insideso I just feel like that is such a little bit of serendipity for me to be able to use and[umm], I like that the [spectro] pump also has a nightlight like very cute little featureWhy not add it in so what well you can't see it in this light, but up hereThere's a light, and there's two settings bright and brighter and then you can also see the controls on itNow you can change the cycle speed you can change the vacuum[the] suction strength andSo you can change that and also there's a massage setting where it goes pretty quicklySo if you alternate between them you're able to really maximizethe amount of milkWhereasWith the [medulla] pump listen to thisokay, it sounds like uh it sounds like a train is chugging and so the [Medela] pump does have a little bit [of]Control in the vacuum level you know the suction strength, but it does not have any other controls, and you're not able to uselike with the spectra that changing not only the vacuum strength, but also the cycle the frequency of thePump.

okay in terms of the parts the spectra pump has a lot fewer pieces that fit more intuitively together in my opinionFrom a user's perspective okay, and it also has this [backflow]Protector so that you don't have to clean out the tubing and also that the pump becomes shareableAnd that is safe to share with anybody else whereas with the [Medela] pump againThere you did have to clean out the tubing and it was recommended not to share the pumpBacteria and different things could back up into the pump which I think should be a standard thing that it shouldn't beNo Bacteria should be able to back up into your pump, and then make it unusable, okay?So I think the spectra just [wins] on all accounts[I] hope this review helped you and then it [helped] you to make a decision.

[I] was able to get the pump through my insuranceLook into that.

If you have that benefit.

Which is really nice alright andThanks for watchingOkay, just one more quick little thing I've taken you into my freezer and showing you my stash check it out, okay? This is over a month and each one of these bags has between an ounce and a half of three ounces depending onThe day I do it as I lay it flat[the] most recent one right when I put it in and I do writeThe date and have my ounces it has and then we'll start using them from this and so we'll just oldest ones first howeverthey last for six months in the freezer, soit should be okay, [I]Hope you enjoyed this video.

Bye.
