🌼ORAL IRRIGATOR WATER FLOSSER 💧 PROFESSIONAL (FAMILY WATER JET) PRODUCT REVIEW 👈

Hi I have a new power water flosser that I'm going to tryIt's made by YASI It's called a Family Oral IrrigatorNow I have another um I call it a water pik that I've been using for some time I haveactually used several different brands over the years and the one that I am using notfunctioning well so I'm looking forward to trying thisThere are also called oral irrigators, water flossers, water piksSo here's the box and I'm going to open it upand try it out Ok, I've got this out of the box and it includesan instruction manual and the cord and there are .

.

.

let's see - 8different attachments So, this holds 600 ml of water and I willfill it up in a minute and then this comes off the top has a compartmenthere and it is a ventilaged compartment for storing the various topsSo I'm going to put some water in here and attach the ac cord and try this outHere is a little better look at the attachments There are the 3 standard nozzles, the pickpocket top, the plaque seeker top, the toothbrush headand the tongue scraper I personally would primarily use the standardtip nozzlethat is what I've done over the years with other water irrigators I call themwater piks or water jets So I've used a couple of different water jetirrigators I like the fact that this handle rests inthe front and not resting in a cup on the sideI have a unit that I'm currently using and I'll get that in just a minute to show youwhere the handle fits down on the side and it tends to get moldy.

This is just open here so there is nowhere for the mold to collect and even though Itry to keep it clean it's difficult because there is almost always water dripping downSo, I put in what I believe is called a standard nozzle and I'm going to try that outOk, no initially I thought maybe this wasn't working because I wasn't controlling the buttonsin the correct manner so I want to point that outSo when you pull the handle out and if you just turn the button nothing happens so youpress down I mean I guess maybe it's pretty obvious tosome, but it took me a couple of minutes to figure it outyou press down and then turn and there is a blue lightso you can see it indicates the strength of the streamand this button causes a pulsing and from the handle there is on and offok that gets so that gets pretty intense at the higher settings I prefer to use mine atone of the lower settings and pushing this white button creates a pulsingeffect and this can be held down from the hand heldnozzle to just turn it off and on so that's easy just to do with your thumb on and offthat's the pulsing mode there are 1,2,3.

.

.

6 levels6 levels for that so there is the first level and then they appearto bcome more rapid and more intense so I'll take it off of that settingand that is just the stead stream So, it's easy to add water you just lift offthe top Now one problem that I have with the currentoral irrigator that I'm using is that it dances across the sink, the counter in the bathroomand I'm constantly having to hold it back I'm going to see if it dances across the counterand it's staying put turn it on high and it is still staying putI"m not sure exactly what the problem is with the one tht I'm using I think I'm going togo get that to compareOk, so one thing that I notice right away that I really, really like about this newYasi is the way that the hand held part clips in the front without a reservoir of cup underneathThe problem that I'm having with the current one that I'm using and I've had this problemwith other models in the past is that and I cleaned this recently but you can see thatthere is mold or mildew or something down in there that collects in the bottom eventhough it is aerated, even though it is not a solid piecethe water tends to drip down the hose and I do use Lysol wipes in there, but it neverlooks quite clean and so this is not going to be a problem withthe Yasi Ok, so to continue my comparison of the oralirrigator that I have been using with the Yasi I think the controls are a little easieron the Yasi the knob to control the strength of the pulsing water is just easy to turnThis is a little more cumbersome not a big deal, but one of the little things that mightmake this easier to use a big thing for me though is the cup thatthis rests in getting mold, mildew, whatever that isand I am cleaning it, I am using Lysol wipes cleaning it regularly but it just kind oflooks funky and I like the fact that this does not restin a cup so that is a big deal for meNeither one of these units are bad looking but I kind of think that this has a cleanerlook with the chrome and I like the color blue - all the irrigators seem to be someshare of blue and white but this is an attractive unit so let me get the old one out of theway So here is how the top opens and comes offto store the extra attachmentsI'm going to look at least one of the other attachmentseasy to remove ok, I'll try to toothbrushWow, I like that That is something that I probably would usethe current water jet that I use I tend to stick with one tip, the traditional watertip, but this actually might make brushing very much more effectivemaybe I will just brush as I normally do and then use this afterOk, so this does seem very easy to use effective I'm looking forward to replacing my currentoral irrigator which I mentioned has some issuesSo if you are looking at water piks, water jets, oral irrigators, you probably alreadyknow the benefits they can offer.

I've spoken to my dental hygenist and she says that she can tell which of her patientsuses an oral irrigator They tend to have healthier gums and fewercavities So to recap,, this is the Yasi Family OralIrrigator It has multiple tips it has easy controlsand it looks as though it will be easy to keep clean due to the designThanks for watching.
