This is a unboxing video of the Black and Decker 20 volt lithium 4 tool combo kitThis is December 2017 this has been out a little whileThis year this was running like a right around $100So you get the drill? You get the circular saw that's five and a half inchYou get the reciprocating saw here andthe light andtwo batteries aCool thing about these 20 volt lithium from Black & DeckerIs they've become pretty standard and I have a string trimmer that uses the same battery packs?alsowhile I prefer to buy black & decker name-brand itemsYou can find replacements readily on eBay so lots ofavailable battery packs to replace or add to your collection soI'll go ahead and open it up and come right backNow before opening it up.
I just get another shot at the top of the box here for youIt does indicate thatit has a2-year limited warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee, that's pretty good as far.
As these kind of tools go andThen I thought I would spin the box around hereJust get a quick shot of the back of that box.
Let me focus it for you.
IMean it just talks about the features of each of them the main toolsSo there you have it as far as the side of the packaging goes just more more of the same reallyAround to the other sideOkay that gives you an idea, I'll go ahead and well, this is actually showing other tools.
They have not really what's in the box?Okay, now will opened upWell they have everything very neatly packed in that box very densely packed so this is everything that was inside the boxSo we can see the reciprocating saw the circular saw theDrill and the light and then the two batteries and the battery chargerSo we'll go ahead and take the rest of the packaging off and come backOkay, we got everything kind of laid out here on the counter nowNice set of manuals here look at that real quick soWe've got the drill manual the circular saw manuala little manual for the lightI think you can probably figure that out how to work that and the reciprocating saw and a blade for thatOne thing I wanted to point out is it does not come withthe circular sawbladeSo no big deal when I was looking at this I did notice that they were kind of mixed reviewsOr mixed feedback on whether or not thatCircular saw blade came with itClearly on my unit here in December 2017 did notOkay, so there is everything kind of laid outIf we look at the let's look at the batteries firstVery small light battery you can see it's 1.
5 amp power 20 voltIt's battery there's two of thosethe charger andkind of like to show you how the charger works, it's really aCompact neat design so plug plug this into the wallThe battery this then slips over the battery, so you kind of do like thisIt's like thatSo not a bulky battery charger nice and compactReal easy to use is just like the string trimmer I have from three years agoAnd here's a shot of the circular sawPretty uh pretty hefty, but but manageable, I'm sure that a big full-size electric one might be a little heavierSoI've got kind of this unlockTo get it goingThere's the front of it again we have the blade over thereSo there there's the reciprocating saw let's look at the drillVery very light in the hand drillOkay, it's a keyless keyless chuck focus in hopefully you can see thatOkay, so that's the drill? The light is really super simple super lightweight.
It's just a flashlight, and there's your lights on itSo pull on/off buttonSpot for the battery and then the circular saw here we have it seems to have a similar like thumbStarter so you can pull so you have to push in with your thumb hereAnd then you can pull the trigger to start the bladeIt's got a nice handle.
It's not not overly heavyYou're probably still too hand operation, but really you could do a lot with oneNow they didn't they didn't don't cheap out on this circular saw and I think their small precise jobs.
This could be really handyLet me see if I can focus in here a little betterYou can actually dial the angle in so if you're making angled cutsIt should help you with thatAs far as the battery goesIt slides right in up here in fact I'llI'll come back with some shots of the battery installed, but this is niceI think this this could be really really used for a lot of projectsBut I was even thinking you know you're doing a trim project and you need to cut it to45 this would be really really slick for that job.
No wiresOkay, so let me put the batteries in in the circular saw in the drill so you can see how that looksOkay, just coming back here.
You can see I've got the battery installed in the circular sawAnd in the drillReally not not big maybe you put me in there for perspective.
It's not aYou know if you're used to carrying a Makita.
This is a really lightweight drillNotice the light so in terms of model number on the drillDoesn't really say much there.
Let me see if I can focus here for youSo IThink they're calling it the LD X 120So you got a light that comes on let's see maybeandThen another cool thing is you see there's the?storage for a bit there on the back of thehandleOkay, I'm not gonna use it too much because I haven't charged the battery yetYeah, that won't start off the circular saw yet, but you can see it thereOkayAll in all look.
I think it's worth 100 100 bucks.
I'll put it to use here and give you some updates if you knowThere's anything that develops, butSeems like a good hundred dollar toolkit here to meAlright, thanks for watching.
