Kitchenaid Spiralizer vs Veggie Bullet vs Paderno vs Oster Review

Do you like gadgets that help you make quick and easy meals at home? Then youare gonna love this video! Hi, I'm Tarashaun.

For those of you that don't know meI'm the founder of blenderbabes.

com.

Your number one resource for blending, smoothies, and healthy living.

Now Blender Babes have become experts onblenders.

But really we love all kinds of gadgets that help our tribe to eatbetter.

So, today we're going to be doing the ultimate test in spiralizing.

Spiralizing is great because it helps you make veggies in all kinds of new andcreative ways.

I love using it for zoodles curly fries cabbage, I use it foreverything.

And today we're going to decide who is the ultimate spiralizerbetween the Oster, the veggie bullet, the KitchenAid, and the Paderno.

Obviously I can't test all of these at once, so today we're gonna have specialguest Blender Babes - Jamae and Kim.

Thank you ladies so much for joining.

"thank you"I'm super excited to do this with you.

So, Kim, tell me have you ever spiralizedbefore? "I have not spiralized before" Never? "This is my first time" Have you ever hadzoodles? "I have had zoodles, but I did not make them, very delicious" Who was so niceenough to make those for you? " restaurant" oh (Chuckles)! And what about you Jemae, have you ever spiralized before? "No, this will be my first time also.

" Alright sowe're we're all in the market for spiralizers over here.

So this will be fun, guys get to decide which one will work best for you.

All right,so we're going to be making in round one of our competition, zoodles!Which is basically made out of zucchini and is supposed to be like spaghetti.

Now zucchinis soft and fairly easy to spiralize so for round 2 of ourcompetition we need a hard dense vegetable.

We're going to be usingsweet potatoes to make curly fries .

"Yeah!" So, those are two of the top things thatpeople like to make with spiralizers' but of course they doso much more.

Alright so we're going to begin our competition with the Osterand the Veggie Bullet, which both use a shoot to push the ingredients through.

So,here's your zucchini ladies.

"Thank you" "Thank you""She's done, look at that y'all" I think you needed some muscle overthere.

(Chuckles) Alright so, next we're gonna do the KitchenAid and the Paderno.

Then wewill compare.

Okay so the only thing with the KitchenAid is there is a specificyou know length that it can't be longer than.

So I think this isn't actually alittle too long because it's on its farthest.

So I'm just gonna just gonna trimit down a little bit.

It has to be like a specific, you know diameter aswell as length.

So actually skewer this on for you and that way we can push itthrough.

You're kind of gonna do a similar one similar way with your Paderno.

You kind of skewer it on.

There you go.

"Okay" So this one is electric aswell the KitchenAid but the paderno is a manual one soyou got to use a little bit of muscle.

"okay, okay" So, I'm actually gonna turnthis to the side so you can see it.

"Can I just swtich mine off?" Yeah, so onceyou turn it on then you'll also take the you know the the speed to about six.

"okay"okay all right and ready, set, go!"Am I doing it right?" Yeah, it just takes a little time.

you're almost there!yeah you got it you got it in there create alright.

Okay so we're gonna layout the zoodles from each machine and kind of get an idea you know what theylook like.

and how Zoodely they are.

Okay so um grab likea good-looking zoodle from each machine and I'm findone from the KitchenAid.

ArightThere we go so we have the Oster, the Veggie Bullet, the KitchenAid and thePadernoAll right so what do you guys think? What are your first impressions? I know you'venever spiralized before.

"This one looks more like linguine, than a noodle""Yeah the Paderno, looks more like angel hair pasta""These two, I have to say are the winners looking like real noodles like spaghettinoodles".

Alright, and they do have different blades.

I'vedone them with you know all the blades just to kind of see and they picked theones that looked more like closest to spaghetti.

"Right ,yeah" What do you think, Jamae?"I think they're pretty,I like it because it's pretty.

" I mean, I eat all of that! I love fettuccine and spaghettiSo, you know like I said, Zucchini is probably the number one reason peoplebuy spiralizers.

It's because it also become so popular it's such a greatreplacement for you know starchy pastas and people that are trying to eat lowcarb and they're trying to eat healthier.

You can save a ton of calories and getyou know you and your family to eat more veggies, which it's pretty important.

because you're trying to eat healthier right yes absolutely absolutely.

So thewinners of Round one is the veggie bullet and KitchenAid.

Which as a blenderbabe in my expertise it's not much of a surprise.

These are two of the top of the line machines in this category.

So for roundtwo we're gonna be making sweet potato curly fries.

We're also gonna startagain with the Oster and Veggie Bullet Okay okay, So here's your potatoes ladies.

"thank you", "thank you" Let's do this you ready? I'm ready! All right, so you're gonna turn it onAlright! And next we're gonna use the KitchenAid and Paderno.

"Let's Do it" Alright! So this one's for you, which we've already you peeled and with theKitchenAid one thing I did want to show you guys is it comes with a peeler.

Soyou have to put it on firstAlright, are you guys ready? "I'm ready"Okay, so again you're gonna hand cranking it so you're just gonna turn iton and turn it to speed six.

niceokay, good job guys!So let's lay out our results and we can take a better look at whathappened here.

These kind of look like the ones from Jack in the Box! "Yeah"We just need some extra seasoning.

"Yeah super yummy" What do you ladies think? Whatdid you think, Kim? "um just based on look?" Yeah, based on look and how easy it was to use.

.

.

"This one pretty basic which I think I would prefer although look wiseit turned out that on the KitchenAid, but this is a little too complicated for me.

I just want to get in and out I don't want to fidget with it, um cut down theingredient exactly or worry about the shape of my potato.

yeah yeah I just wantto get to it!" What about you Jamae? "um I felt like thisone was very convenient very easy in and out and this one you know she was aworkout, like I lost about five pounds (chuckles) So, I definitely wouldn't do her.

" Yeah, you knowit there almost looks like there's just like little pieces like there's not toomany like big curly fires, more like baby shreds or little pieces.

The KitchenAid you know they do have like different sizes, I mean itdoes spiral as well but yeah it was it was difficult for me to get the piece on andfigure out how to put the peeler on and put the attachment on.

This one if the veggie bullet had a lot of yummy curly fries.

I believe they also have a shoestring fry it blade so you can makecurly fries but you can also make String fries so whichever kind of friesyour son likes.

"Sounds awesome!" This one kind of looked like the zoodles in termsterms of like the fettuccine style but I'm actually really surprisedbecause in my testing the Oter couldn't even do sweet potatoes.

It failedso it might have been just an extra hard one or maybe the shape so I'm glad thatyou know didn't totally fail and we got to be in competition with these ones.

it's a real competition, right? "Yes, it is.

" alright so in terms of the ultimate spiralizerwhich one do you guys like? "Veggie Bullet!" "The Veggie Bullet!" Yeah allright, so the Veggie Bullet is the WINNER! It's the ultimate spiralizer of thiscompetition and the Veggie Bullet can also do a lot more.

The Veggie Bullet isa slicer, it's a shredder so it can slice hard meats and cheeses it can like makecabbage or shredded carrots, coleslaw.

I've also shredded like parmesan andhard cheese and it also has a blender attachment so you can make your singleserve blending.

So it's very very versatile I think it's a very coolmachine.

I definitely think that the Veggie Bullet is the winner of this ultimatespiralizer competition.

"and she's chic!"Well, thank you Kim so much for today and I really, really appreciate it! Jamae, Thank you!Definitely welcome to the blender babes family! If you want to see all of these four spiralizer's making allkinds of different things besides just zoodles and sweet potatoes, you can seethe full Oster versus Veggie Bullet vs.
